HCL-M1999-6, 0-1, King's Indian, annotated by australopitecus on 12.02.2013

I didn't play this game but I'm a specialist of the King's Indian. The two players are Granbanzito and nico21. (13.04.2010, 1 GPP, 29 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer

HCL-M2090-17, 1-0, Altindisch, annotated by zervikalprolaps on 26.09.2010

(30.08.2010, 1 GPP, 25 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer

HCL-M2074-4, 0-1, Sicilian Svesnikov, annotated by Grabanzito on 10.09.2010

Sometimes less popular variations are less popular for a reason. Black has an easy opening battle here (05.09.2010, 1 GPP, 43 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer

HCL-M2074-6, 1-0, Sicilian with b3, annotated by Grabanzito on 12.08.2010

It's always a special game when you have to play against one of your own favourite openings. Although I lost this one it was quite informative for me and I learned a lesson for the next time I will play this with the white pieces (04.08.2010, 1 GPP, 27 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer

HCL-M2048-2, 1-0, Caro Kann, annotated by Grabanzito on 21.07.2010

The exchange variation of the Caro-Kann opening has the reputation of giving black little problems to equalize. But even when you play lines like that you can't just lay back and wait. Too much of an relaxed attitude by my opponent won the game for me. (14.06.2010, 1 GPP, 33 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer

HCL-M2021-14, 0-1, sizilianisch, annotated by zervikalprolaps on 01.07.2010

(01.07.2010, 1 GPP, 40 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer

HCL-M2021-8, 0-1, Sicilian with Bb5, annotated by Grabanzito on 01.07.2010

It's not enough to have a superior position at one point. A lot of players relax once they have an advantage and think they are safe. You have to keep up the pressure and play with precision or your advantage can slip away very fast. (28.05.2010, 1 GPP, 37 moves)  Annotated game  Java viewer
