Server down time

Today, the PlayChess server had been down for several hours. Please accept my apologies for this inconvenience! I will intensify my search for a new home...

Is the problem the bandwidth or server's capasity to run the program? In my opinion the problems became more frequent when new languages were added. Maybe it would be better to "close" some of the features for a while to ease the servers burden and make the site more stable.

Esteemed Mr. Stahl,

What do you think about keeping the site just in few languages, like English, German and Esperanto.

The reasons are logical, aren't they?

No, the languages are not responsible for server problems. In contrary, I will publish more translations soon.

All we need is a new server - which will probably be available around Christmas (would be nice!).

Yuri, do you speak Esperanto? (guess why I am asking) ;-)
