Download of Games

The games played on this site may be downloaded in Portable Game Notation (PGN).

The PGN format is understood by (nearly) all chess databases. Therefore, you can import these files into your program for analysis.

The following files are offered as compressed files (gzip). You need uncompress software (e.g. WinZip) to restore the original PGN file format. Please click on the "month names" in the first column to start a download.

Create a new PGN file

If you need a certain monthly PGN download, which is not available above, you can create it with the following form. But please do not create new PGN files during the busy hours of PlayChess; you better do that between 00:00 and 9:00 GMT.

Hint. This feature is only available for members of PlayChess.
