Corus 2004 - Results

The 66th Corus tournament in Wijk aan Zee (Netherlands) is over. Anand won ahead of Leko and Adams, Kramnik finished (only) 6th.

But for me the most interesting result is the winner of the C-tournament, Magnus Carlsen from Norway - with 10.5 out of 13 games, that's 81 percent!

Yup, Carlsen is a wunderkind allright. Even beat
"our" Sipke Ernst and Jan smeets.

A big hello from Netherlands!

Sure Carlsen is not a bad player. But what tho think of Jan Smeets who became a grandmaster this tournament.
And the next youngster is coming up, Daniel Stellwagen.
